-
How long are appointments?Bridal appointments are scheduled for 2 hours. We find this gives our brides time to try on all different styles and narrow down to their favorites! Prom apointments are scheduled for 1 hour.
-
Who should I bring to my appointment?Less is more! We suggest bringing your closest friends and family. We are a small boutique, and have comfortable seating for 4 people. We find that your closest friends and family tend to have your best interests at heart making the decision a bit easier for you when choosing your gown! Sometimes many opinions can make decision making difficult.
-
What should I wear for undergarments to my appointment? We suggest nude underwear. Feel free to bring shape wear as well. Most of our gowns have a lot of structure, and undergarments aren't normally required to get the perfect fit!
-
What are the prices of the gowns? Our wedding gowns range from $1800 to $4000 with most priced at $2200. We carry a great selection of gowns to accommodate any budget. Prom gowns range from $475 to $1200.
-
When should I start shopping and how long does it take to order a gown? Most wedding gowns can be ordered within 4 to 6 months. We recommend shopping for your gown about a year before to allow plenty of time for your gown to come in and to book your fittings. Otherwise, we can help you select from our vast selection of sample dresses available for purchase or can offer rush orders from certain designers. A couple other things to consider: Prices change, and collections change. If you’ve found a dress and you love it, you should be aware that the manufacturer can discontinue a style at any time (even new collections!) and prices are constantly changing to reflect increased manufacturing and shipping costs.
-
Do you rent gowns? All of our gowns are available for purchase only.
-
What is a trunk show?A trunk show is when a designer sends their entire new collection to us for a few weeks. This is a great opportunity for you to see and try on all the gowns from an entire collection!
-
Should I buy at a Bridal Shop or the Internet? While shopping over the internet is easy, convenient, and can sometimes save you money, you should NEVER buy a wedding gown over the internet. The internet is filled with discounters who claim to have the "real thing", but are nothing more than cheap knock offs of designer gowns. The dresses arrive in a brown box, wrinkled, and are usually of incredible poor quality. It is not unheard of for the dress being sewn together incorrectly and or beads being glued on instead of sewn on and it falling apart on you. Not at all what you might have imagined for the dress of the most important day of your life. There are so many benefits to purchasing at a Full Service Bridal Boutique. We are here to support you throughout the process. A bridal consultant is there to help you choose a gown that is appropriate for the day, your style, body type, and budget. She will also use her expertise to help you choose all of your accessories to complete your look for the day. We offer in house alterations, and when you pick up your gown before you big day, it is steamed and picture ready! Most importantly, you have the peace of mind that your gown is the real thing by purchasing at an authorized bridal boutique. For more helpful information please visit bridalbeware.com
